The £21m Great Western Academy opened in 2018, a state-of-the-art secondary school built under the ESFA government framework in Swindon has space for 1,210 pupils. The 9,350m² school is a fantastic new facility, arranged over 3 storeys, is a bright and vibrant space designed to support teaching and learning in the best of environments.
On this project we installed the 2,500m² of Permarock insulated render which make up a large proportion of the building’s façade. Set against the dark coloured windows, brickwork and cladding, the brilliant white finish stands out superbly.
Delivered on time for the grand opening in September 2018, Intastruct are pleased to have been involved in a hugely successful project which will benefit the future pupils of the school.
